Artist's Statement
Art can resurrect the past, preserve the present, muse on the future and give voice to the imagination. Art picks up where words fail. When overwhelming emotions leave us speechless, the act of artistic expression provides the platform to release the unspeakable feelings in a way that can be shared with others.
I am inspired foremost by God’s creation. I enjoy painting landscapes, mountains, lakes, trees, clouds and animals. I also enjoy depicting man’s interactions with each other, with nature and in their day-to-day lives. I was born and raised and continue to live in Southern Indiana. The beautiful landscapes and people around me influence much of my work.
